Made a high pitch chirping noise

I had mine for years mine had 3 settings in the last two settings I could hear on high it would detter deer and large animals. Mid setting was for squirrels and low was for mice and bugs. Kept mine on medium as the trailer was unoccupied. Sat in the woods for two years no mice

I had a camper trailer parked im my woods for several years with a plug in chirper. Kept it mostly mouse free

Bobber fishing is the best. Caught my biggest large mouth with bobber and a half inch piece of dead worm. As you say, being in a boat and leaving cares behind is the main thing fish are a bonus
