Stack and I were planning on going but I'm with you on the questionable snow. We're not pre-purchasing tickets this year for the fear of cancelation and or raining conditions like last year.

Rained here a good portion of today, supposed be warm all week and not even close to below freezing at night so they can't make snow at night. But, I still wont be surprised if they pull it off. It seems every year they find a way. We'll see.

Its a huge event in Sno Cross at LG, probably the most talked about track in the circuit and they will get snow if they dont have it stacked up already.

I can only believe they have planned and had a ton of base plus they push it to the east side of the hill out of the sun. I drove by Alpine Valley a couple days ago they still had snow. I would guess that A;pine Valley is only 10miles away so maybe they could truck it from there. Let just hope they planned ahead

I am sure its going to be a muddy mess

I imagine they'll haul in snow if needed.

Supposed to be highs in the upper 60s to low 70s every day until then. Muddy mess is about right. Would be bizarre riding bikes to LG, then watching Snocross.

It's ALWAYS warm the week before and the weekend of Lake Geneva. Every year I have went it's been 50°, 60°, 70° and been almost HOT! There is always a buttload of snow, they make it all season long in preparation for this event. Now, rain is a different animal all together but I would think they are prepared for the worst. This show will go on IMHO.

Can you buy tickets there or do you have to buy them on line?

Anyone know the event layout or where to find a map for the event layout. The place look big on Google Maps but not allot of parking by the hill. From the looks of the ads it looks like they may have some indoor stuff, maybe some sleds on display or gear for sale???

The wife has a wedding this weekend (someone from work) so I will have all three of my boys. Got to plan out somewhat, what we would like to do, since I will be bring my 2 year-old.

Plenty of parking, but not right by the hill. The parking is on the airstrip. There is some indoor areas for food etc. Snowmobile displays, etc... are usually outside in tents.

Cool thanks, just need to get an idea to know what to bring for the kids. If you had to park at the resort and take a bus or walk that could be a pain with my youngest. Trying to talk my mom in to coming and taking him shopping with her for the day in town. Then I can spend some good time with the older two.

Took my 2yrold and 5yrold to Nelsons Snow-motion last August but the stroller stuff is a pain. We sat in the first row of the bleachers and he slept in his stroller for 3/4 of the racing.

Was in Lake Geneva today and saw the hill from the road and it didn't look good, but I don't think I was seeing the part they would race on. I also saw at least 3 racing rigs coming through town. 1 being being Ross Martin's Polaris rig. They're here! :D
