Greetings all you Munising veterans...Was curious to know of any places that are MUST stop joints up there? Never sledded Munising, typically stay out by Lake Gogebic...Really looking forward to hitting some new areas for me as well as our 8 person group!

Speaking of Munising---Whatever happened to the DNR officer that was giving sledders grief as well as the business owners that the officer claimed their advertising signs were in violation ????

Haven't heard a peep about him in many months..........rumor mill had it that he got buried in paperwork (intentionally) until they could figure out what to do about him.........and he wasn't DNR, he was USFS Law Enforcement and Investigations division.

He packed up and moved away — to join the Ferguson, MO Police Department? :confused:

Nope luv fast food on the sled good Mcds in Iron River UP too. I don't like sitting around rather be on the sled but fast food is good fuel & off you go. What's the diff buger & fries at the local pub or the fast food joints. I just got in touch with Hardys again been maybe 12-15 years ....not cheap but good burgers you should give them a try. I like the frisco burger with bacon good stuff. The Hardys in Munising is aok just was there 2 months ago. Munising is also a beautiful area plenty to offer all 4 seasons.

u can eat that garbage anytime..the whole point of riding is visiting and giving business to LOCAL establishments..to pump money into national chains when riding is pure sacrilage..

Naw with 3k trail miles a year plenty of lean green to spread around. Not a lot of national chains in the UP & WI northwoods so sometimes novelty for us.... everyday for city folk not so much up here.
