Let's keep it positive - an experiment

Too much negativity around us in general.

Let's see how long this thread can keep going with positive thoughts before it gets hijacked. I have a number in mind; Let's see if we can beat that.

My $0.02 worth. I woke up today. If I hadn't, not so good of a day. Waking up was all it took to give me a positive frame of mind.

I guess the number will be zero. You started with negativity thinking it will get hijacked. LOL.
Anyway, other then the temps no negatives here. Lots of snow, miles of groomed trails. It's going to be a great weekend!

I'll be the negative guy here, as some days I wake up in so much pain and unable to move much at all,
I do question if maybe I';d be better off NOT waking up LOL
as my Dr's keep telling me, its only going to get worse from here
so, its not always all great just waking up?
Sorry, but being honest!

I take what I get and work with it best I can, but sure ain't great at times anymore for me!

Can relate to that..... quoted from Morgan Freeman Shawshank Redemption...… " Get busy living or get busy dying " everyday is a great day and no matter how bad things may seem, there is always someone that has it worse. I used to fish the Bob Uecker Make a Wish Invitational fishing tournament when it used to come into town and at the luncheons they would have terminally ill children talk about what the make a wish foundation and what they were ailed with and thanked all of us for making the fundraiser as successful as it was for the foundation. Here we are as adults get a cut, smash our finger and seems like end of world and here I am listening to a "child" knowing they have a terminal diagnosis standing up there with a smile on his or her face and it makes whatever problems you may have seem trivial in comparison. "Every day is a good day, Some are just better than others" (old abe) TRUE THAT! live for today and see what tomorrow brings!

I'm with ya on that, great to wake up, but when you have arthritis in both knees and can barley get moving in the morning , And I just turned 50, have to take 3 tylenol and 4 ibprophen just to get going, somedays it is hard to stay postive because things are only going to get worse from here on out, guess just like they say, sucks getting old. You aren't the only one, but still some days better than others! The busier I am, the less I think about it. Pain, that is.

When I wake up, the first thing I see is my female black lab - just always happy and bouncy. Sometimes a little too much lol. I try to model my days after her - everything is an adventure.

I know exactly what you're saying.
Some days it's not just the barley, but the wheat and oats are also unwilling to get moving. :devilish:

It has been a fun winter.
I actually enjoy moving snow. The neighbors sure are happy about that fact.
