Now that things are slowing down for the winter pasttimes, it's time to think ahead to summer and our toys of preference. Zero Turn Mowers, Fishing Boats, Classic Cars, the list is endless for our warm weather interests. Got a camper? Electric Bike? A Harley in the driveway? Cabin Up North? Let's see what ya got!

The closest thing to riding a snowmobile in the summer!

We have a full sized Ford Bronco with a soft top (wife in pic) & we just recently purchased 2 ebikes which we haven't taken possession of yet. Looking forward to trying them out.

Well I don't have all of them here, missing 2 more bikes, a ATV, and the 5th wheel, but here's my latest.

I'd posted this before but its the new Mtn Bike and it has a motor so that counts, right?? I'll say I'm amazed by the assist the motor gives and it's basically unnoticeable when it kicks in. But even though I love the E part of the bike I still can't pick a line through some of the rock crawls worth a damn. (that's not what's portrayed in this picture)
But it gets you to spots where you have great views of Duluth. Very lucky to have such an amazing trail system up here.

Summer toys? This sport is too damn expensive to have those! I do still hold onto the first car I ever 100% bought with my own money. Hasn't seen the road in about 10yrs. Just not as interested in it as I used to be. I had considered selling it several times when younger and times were tuff. The wife actually talked me out of it, given the rare color (burnt orange). I've been told Ford only made 1500. Personally never seen another one in this color.

Your wife was right! Believe me, sooner or later you'll be really glad you didn't sell it. Ask any of us that have sold a car (in my case many cars) that we wish we still had.

You guys have some really cool summer toys. I guess the only thing I have that might qualify as a summer toy is this, the same toy I’ve had for the last 15 years (unless the lawn tractor counts).

It has been banged into a few fixed objects and has seen its share of fish poop but I think it’s holding up better than I am.

This is my all season toy / workhorse. 2024 Kawasaki Ridge Limited. I can enjoy this year round no matter the weather with the inline 4 cylinder engine, AC, Heat, Sound System, Garmin Tread 8", Power Windows etc.... This is a comfortable ride.

My summer toys are work toys, but they are still fun... (I have an uncle and a few friends with boats so I can get out on the water that way... Plus my uncle love when I take the boat because I always detail it. So he gets it back better that he gave it to me. LOL)

JD X590 54" deck - I love the cut and the MOD feature is great! I don't use it to really mulch, because it cuts great with the door open. However being able to close the chute door off when going by landscaping is the best! I do think have the extra mulch baffles and mulch blades on the deck helps keep the clipping smaller.

JD 3039R - I've been making it work... I moved 100 tons of black dirt and 30 tons of asphalt grinding over the last few months, I been cutting trails and the ease of moving something I can put on a pallet is great! Even dug a trench with the forks to bury some gutter drains. (The bucket is not this shiny anymore. LOL)

Farris ISX2200 30.5hp/60" deck - I have some rough ground on areas of my property and this suspension rides amazing! Also cut my mowing time in half! I do want to get a chute blocker at some point but I don't have to have it just yet not alot of landscaping on my property yet...

Glad to see everyone is active with whatever puts a smile on their face. Our neighbors, when I was a kid, had a couple of those Farmall H's but nothing nearly as nice as the one that belongs to BixSix. Also, I'm curious of the year and make of the turquoise boat in #18. The color screams 1950 something. JimAndros, we're looking at you! I must admit, I miss having a boat. I was happy to have it and I was glad to sell it. Go figure.

Keep them coming. Work or Play, whatever gets you out of the house on a nice Summer's Day. We'd like to see it!
