I can remember the early days and getting out to ride with John once a year. Great conversation and some super fun rides! He created such a great place for us all to connect. My sincerest condolences to his family and close friends. John will certainly be missed! God took a good man home!

That is absolutely not true Pete. Not sure where you got that information but it is totally false. I spent 17 years at TrackSide and was there when we took on Yamaha and let Yamaha and Arctic Cat go.

TrackSide at that time told Arctic Cat to come pick up their sleds! I remember the scenario well.

Gotta say you are probably right. While the 700 market fizzled in the mid 2000's the Cat 700's were rolling out with an advertised 140hp. So we have a sled or 2 in that class that made it up to that mark. The first time I met Lenny I was on an orange 2006 Crossfire 700.

The haydays for 700's was the late 90's and early 2000's. The Polaris 700 XC was about 123hp, Doo just shy of that and Cat had a dismall re-introduction of the 700 twin. Yes the Firecat was a game changer for that class bringing us to that 135 / 140 mark and arguably the hottest 700 to hit the...

Fitment of the breath deflector is critical. They are adjustable and come in 3 different sizes to accommodate different faces. Be sure the deflector fits as described in the directions.

I completely agree that keeping trails open is work that most don't understand or even appreciate. You must however not classify all Mountain Sleds as the loud ones! I have been in the powersports industry since 1996 and can tell you that there are way too many trail sleds that are too damn...

Be sure your connections are clean and tighten with a wrench. Loose terminal connections will do this often.
