When I had my place, the dock had the shape of the number 4 with a boat slip in the middle. I hung the Kasco (1/2 HP size) between the last 2 pilings in the slip (from both sides, like a sling) & angled a bit towards shore so the open water didn't go way out into the lake.

I agree, the tubing filled with water & froze. So no air is being pumped down. What was wrong with the Kasco?. They can be submerged & left to freeze so long as it's below the ice. I used to drill a few ice augar holes when I would start mine so water would flow up & out too.

You're from Waushara, you know we don't have enough to open. Waupaca is closed & Marathon is only partially open. I wouldn't waste my time unless you're going to Lincoln or further. Did you get any riding in back mid December in Waushara?
