The 1st time we were there, we were walking south towards the pier in Cocoa Beach . Everyone on the beach was looking north. Finally I asked someone what was going on. It was our lucky day. We were able to see a launch and had no idea ahead of time that it was going to happen.

We've stayed in near-by Cocoa Beach twice, and went to Kennedy Space Center both time. The bus ride out around the launch pads was very cool. If you visit Kennedy, you need to do the bus tour. There is so much more to see than what is in and around the main buildings.

I remember a Tucker broke down on the trail between Calumet and Copper Harbor around 1990, or very early '90s. It had been vandalized, pretty sad deal.

Not watching, couldn't care less. I've got a book to read.

I don't believe trails will open, even if we get snow, in Central WI. I think the sleds are getting tucked away and I'm taking the plow off the UTV and going for a ride some day real soon.

It is my understanding that they put $1M into one bridge and no new miles were approved. If that's true, that was a dumb move. I don't get all that info anymore, so correct me if I'm wrong.

As long as the Rec Council doesn't bomb again, like they did this year with 1 bridge.
