No talk of new sled offerings?

So, after going on Cat's website, I don't see any sled with ATAC (I have a '26 ZR with ATAC), just curious what's going on there, did they discontinue that option?

    Snowfall in the Keweenaw

We just got back from Ishpeming/Negaunee/Marquette area. It just kept coming down. Trail conditions were loose with all the powder on them. Big fun.

    Whitefish Point

Ah, the ten miles I mentioned is by road. Last time we were there the road was perfect for riding as it never stopped snowing. I can't attest to current conditions. But yes, pretty much one way in and out.

    Whitefish Point

No, food and gas is in Paradise, just 10 miles away.

Hey Mikey I think he likes it

I'm coming off a four stroke (ZR 7000 Sno Pro) to the Catalyst. While I loved that engine, the heaviness was just wearing on me, especially as I get older. I'm literally going from one of the heaviest sleds to one of the lightest. I will never go back to a four stroke just because of the...

Hey Mikey I think he likes it

Yes, I'm starting to think that it wasn't worth the extra money for the ATAC, but then again, I haven't been in big moguls yet to try out the hard setting to see if it was really worth it. I also have to commend CAT for making a sled that comes apart so easily, even the headlight adjustment is...

Hey Mikey I think he likes it

I've got about 500 miles on my 26, and so far it has been fantastic! It's just so damn fun I don't want to get off of it. I've got ATAC and the G8. So far, I'm finding that I don't use ATAC too much, the medium setting is just really good for me. The G8, well sometimes I'm looking at engine...

    Lakenland closure to sleds

I agree. I've been to Lakenenland many times and have enjoyed his art, cruising through and standing around the fire for a bit. We had the pleasure to meet Tom and have a nice chat. That being said, I wish artists, athletes and actors would just leave politics alone, because it just incites...

    This Weekend's DNR Patrols

I'm all for the extra enforcement efforts. Aside from obvious safety aspect, the behaviors that I keep reading about on various FB pages are giving us all a bad name, and most likely not committed by sober people. The recent vandalism at Lakenenland in Marquette is an example. Don't get me...

    Something to Consider

Exactly. Hand signals and lights are pretty pointless, you should always assume that there's a sled coming in the next turn because the group you just passed has no idea there's another group right behind them. I'm the same as you, I look at my mirrors all the time, and wish everyone did. Too...

Scott King's Snow Stick Video Livestream.

I hope you're doing ok, I've been thinking about you.

A new suit for a big guy

Not sure about this one. I'm 6'2", 230lbs. I wear Klim Keweenaw 2x tall bib. I've been very happy with everything. Pricey, yes. I'm sure there's less expensive options, but it treats me well. Jackets, well I've got a collection. My current day to day wear when I'm riding is Klim bibs, Klim...

MISSOURI TOURIST OUT ON THE TRAIL

Yes, I had this issue. Couldn't snap shut all the way. I took the visor off, put it back on, and now it's fine. If you don't hear the pop, it's not aligned or something. Was driving around for awhile without it completely snapped. Still better than any other helmet I've owned.

MISSOURI TOURIST OUT ON THE TRAIL

Always someone doing what the GPS tells them instead of believing their own eyes. It's amazing how many people do this. Did your buddy get his helmet issue figured out?

    Yep...its Illinois weekend..lol

As an Ohioan, I'd never heard the term until a few years ago when I was in Wisconsin. I kept seeing these bumper stickers with the reference, so I had to call my Wisconsin friend to get the definition/explanation.
