    Happy Birthday rph 130

I am for a short one. Tried to ride before the warmup but that was a mistake with the knee replacement being only 6 weeks "new". Made it from Presque Isle to MW Shillelagh and back. Spent the next 2 days on couch with ice on it. Would not have known had I not tried. I think that was my one ride...

So, You Found A Vintage Sled...

Skiroule would turn that thing into a work of art! And we would all enjoy watching the process.

    Yep...its Illinois weekend..lol

You are absolutely correct attakman. I made the mistake of wearing my Packers jacket down to the United Center one night years ago to pick up my son and his buddies who were at a Rolling Stones concert. I got out of my truck and was immediately confronted by several drunken Bear fan idiots. They...

Thought you snow lovers would enjoy the pictures

I see some roof shoveling going on at the Clark castle Paul. Had to roof rake our cabin at the end of December hoping the rest would slide on the metal roof. That didn't happen and now with the new knee only 3 weeks old, I had a friend shovel the house and part of the garage last week. With what...

All Right, I'll ask the question!

The Packers team that came out on the field the second half was a different team from the first half. Why? I wish I had the answer but all I can surmise is the coaching. Someone said it earlier in this thread I believe, and it is so correct. LaFlower probably thought an 18-point lead was a...

    The Football Thread

Personally, I think LaFlower is an idiot. He was handed a great team when he became the head coach. His ego clashed with Rodgers, power struggle ensued, and then he chased him out. The winning record belongs to the players. His decision making, clock management, and conservative play calling has...

Chaparral vs John Deere: A Build-Off Challenge

As always Skiroule, outstanding work. You are definitely very skilled at your craft. Two more sleds that belong in a snowmobile museum. I like the Deere better, but both look like they just left the showroom. I remember a picture of your fleet and would love to see you do an old Skidoo sometime...

    My final sunrise

Congrats on the retirement. I joined that club 10 years ago. Wake up in the morning, don't know what day it is and don't care because every day is a day off. Enjoy it.

Met with one of our groomers on Sunday who told me that Presque Isle/Winchester trails passed inspection by the county last week and are near perfect. Also spoke with our club president today who told me that they are waiting until after the alliance meeting tomorrow night and Vilas county will...

Sub-zero temps all day yesterday in Presque Isle. Supposed to warm to a balmy 11 degrees today. The Presque Isle/Winchester trail system has been inspected by the county and has passed. Web site says opening will occur soon. Groomers have been out the past few days and on my brief adventure out...

    Manitowish Waters

Thank you for the clarification. I wish I could find some kind of update on that or press release. Can't find anything about it on AWSC website. Would be good for people to know what's open and what's not in Vilas. Either way, looks like this year with the recent snowfall it's a non-issue.
