    Knee Replacement Surgery - Anyone?

Mezz--an interesting note to my comment about riding a bike 1 week after replacement. Had a nurse/ PT person coming to the house every couple days after the surgery. When she found out I was riding a bike she had a fit--apparantly I "misunderstood" the docs instructions. The doc had a good...

    Knee Replacement Surgery - Anyone?

Mezz, I am 68 yrs old and had partial knee replacements 5 yrs ago--both knees 3 weeks apart. With partials they keep your ligaments and you retain slightly more natural knee movement. A good orthopedic will tell you if you qualify for partials. More docs do the full replacements and the partials...

lofsfire---Thanks for posting your earlier post with all the technical scoop on towing. I don't tow the big trailers that you guys do but I am an automotive engineer who spent allot of time in the industry and I am amazed at how many people tow RV's and long trailers without the load equalizing...

    Building / Shop advice

That drain idea is one of the best I have heard. Very easy to install and cut later in locales where they have strict codes for drains that make no sense. Thanks for posting that--my next barn will have that drain.

    John---Sorry about the fingers!

Just saw the journal pics! I would have done the same thing you did in trying to save the damage to the saw and incurring the damage on yourself! In fact last summer I was all done with replacing hail damaged steel roofing on my 3 buildings in the UP and was taking down scaffolding for the...
