Nice!. I'm sure you could dial it in a bit, but, those triples are thirsty. Look at it as Smiles Per Gallon. Nothing like grabbing a handful of throttle hearing & feeling the the howl of the triple triples.
Looks good in snow backdrop!! thumbs up says it all and im sure smile from ear to ear we cant see! as mezz stated...I too miss the sound of a triple, nothing has ever compared to it!
Haven't posted in a while on here but I've done a lot of work. My buddy bought a 97 Arctic cat powder extreme 600 136". Well, I certainly can't have him running around with a 136"X1.25" while I keep getting stuck with my 121". So I decided to stretch the RXL. I wanted to make it look as if it left the factory long tracked. I did some homework and found out that the 98+ touring sleds used a 133.5" Xtra 12 suspension that would be a direct bolt up. That and an extra idler shaft need to support the longer track. Found a 133.5"X1.25" track. Sourced a tunnel extension and Rocky Mountain King sticker and got to work. A few new swear words and a few thrown wrenches later and Walla!!! RXL Rocky Mountain King!!! Now to dial in the gearing and clutching.
I remember my friend getting the first year XLT with the xtra-12. I remember the first time he took out on a lake and there was snow but not a lot of snow and his hyfax got so hot they melted to the track. He stopped and that was it they froze to the track. Talk about a suspension that really needed some deeper snow that was one. Looks nice Mike.
