Anybody going this year? We'll be there for about our 30th straight year, camping as usual in the Chicken Coop across the highway. Don't really have anything to shop for but I'm sure I'll find something. If you're wandering thru the woods section of camping at the Chicken Coop and you see a gray F350 and a Wildcat 5th wheel or somebody out walking a big dumb Bernedoodle dog stop and say hi! We'll be there! Nothing too major. Grabbing some new gear for my 6 year old. We're staying in Racer's edge. First time camping. It will be dad's first time there. He's pumped! I didn't know which campground to use, so I tried Racer's Edge.

Nice looking pup! By the size of the paws, I would say it is going to be a big bear. I hope your not dealing with too much "puppy" action though.

That is an old picture, he was only about 8 months old then. He's now 5+ and he's a beast. 90-95 lbs but the happiest dang dog ever.

Paul from Boondock Inn/Mosquito will be there, if you see him and your wearing any of his merch you get a free drink ticket to either of his restaurants!

Sleep in the truck every year so we can get rock star parking in the morning and avoid the traffic jam. Walked around Saturday from gates open time @ 7am till they closed at 5pm. Pretty proud that my kid (that goes to Iowa) decided to attend Hay Days with his old man rather than drink beer with his college buddies at the rivalry game vs. ISU (it's the same w/e as HDs every year). Got about a 1/2 inch rip in my bibs last season, which justified getting a new set this year. New boots for the kid, Oxbow radio and a lot of t-shirts to update the wardrobe for both of us. LOL! Actually did NOT buy any coats this year, which is probably a first.

We had a great time like usual. Didn't buy a lot, biggest purchase was a tunnel bag for the new to me RMK. Polaris had a clearance tent there and the tunnel bags were $100, normal price was $359 so that was a good deal. Got my new sled from Montana delivered. The dealer from there had a big swap spot so they brought my sled out with them. I thought the crowds seemed a bit smaller than normal but that may be because of some rain on Saturday. new sled.jpg haydays crew.jpg campsite.jpg new tunnel bag.jpg
