In rememberance of our Fallen Men and Women of the U.S. Military

Flag Etiquette

The Flag should be raised to half-staff from sunrise until noon, then displayed at full staff from noon to sunset.

Unofficially, the first weekend of Summer
whereby
72 million Hot Dogs will be grilled, burned, dropped on the ground and eaten by the family dog.

Several years ago a few veterans, with support from the local American Legion Post, created an area of the local cemetery reserved for veterans.

When you go out there on Memorial Day and see all those American flags, it’s striking how many in this small community have served in the Armed Forces and are laid to rest there.
