I was wishing this storm was about 125 more miles to the west and it was cold enough on northside of it to fall as snow. I was just thinking that by looking at the radar it would be one impressive snow storm if this was the case.
I think if it was a little warmer out the last couple days we would have gotten alot more snow. It just seems its so dry and flakes are really small. Did anyone else notice that. In The snow belts of the UP i am reffering to.
does isle royale limit the lake effect snow in the kew pen when there is a northwest wind was looking at a satillite photo and it seemed like isle royale defanatly would limit the lake effect snow in the keweenaw as its almost a couple mile block.

does it look like the heavy band of snow is going to set up north of houghton today? It look like the winds will be out the the west or little south west and how long does it takes this band to set up.
