Textron farmed out Cats gear (another great move but anyway). The arrangement didn't work out so they are taking it back in house. What you see there is powertec or whatever its called liquidating their inventory. Cat's new gear should be out soon.

Textron has really limited cat's marketing although it's starting to come back. I doubt any cat fan will dispute they've been behind at least several years but it seems there's some life back again.

If the long term goal is for them to drive themselves and you don't own them anymore, then maybe with trailering the powers that be would swap tow vehicles for you? I suppose it won't matter since we'll all be in their 15 minute cities by then. Maybe you can snowmobile and boat by VR instead.
