2022 Snowtrax sled of the year is the Lynx

Just another example why eps should be on every trail sled. Let the bangers bang give those that want to easy ride have eps. I hope all OEMs understand this difference in users.

    Eagle River chain

Chain is very well marked from Eagle River to Three Lakes. There are bars and shallow areas in all the lakes up north but maps are available. Take any boat you want but I would opt for smaller boat or PWC until I knew the water. Pontoons are most popular but woodies , inboards, ios and every...

    Groomer tracker app

I agree with what you are saying but currently clubs use the app as a fund raiser. Until that changes no blanket coverage or price. As I said I glance at free apps check for 24 or 48 hour grooming and go on my way. Heavy traffic can trash a fresh groom within an hour so imo very little benefit...

2022 Snowtrax sled of the year is the Lynx

I like to judge for myself by seat of my pants. I throw a leg over demos or a buddies sled get the feel regarding ride quality and power. I’m not aware of Lynx dealer where I ride or demo availablilty or anyone that owns a Lynx. The Mach is a nice featured power cruiser but expensive so not...

    Groomer tracker app

I know in WI all groomers are on the Auto GPS system and that’s how they get paid. However each club wants a subscription to their club for on the clock grooming. I glance at free apps to see if groomed in last 24, 48 or greater hours. UPMI I’m not sure how their system works.

    2023 Yamaha Snowmobiles?

I thought marketing weight wars were long over on trail sleds we want amenities and those weigh. If that’s your motivation purchase a dinky 500 with no amenities. Weight and powder I get but on a performance trail sleds middle weights are fine with me.

    2023 Yamaha Snowmobiles?

If you never had eps you don’t know what you are missing 2s or 4s. If you have had eps you wonder why all sleds don’t have it. Eps just makes front end handling much more forgiving especially with aggressive carbides. I like eps and want it available on all sleds. Just like rider forward who...

    2023 Yamaha Snowmobiles?

IMO every trail snowmobile should have the option of eps. I remember when cars didn’t have power steering, power brakes and power windows as standard. Now those features are standard. I had a buddy that bought a stick shift Toyota maybe 6 years ago didn’t want power anything ended up having to...

    The New 2004 Yamaha's

Yamaha was on to a good suspension with the EC Ohlin mono. Problem the mono was radically different from 2 shock rear suspensions the users didn’t know how to adjust for butter smooth studder bumps. Then the Nyto was left out in the cold wasn’t developed to be an outstanding bump sled. Imo I saw...

    Michigan dnr adding new trails

Nope no idea where you got that interpretation. When snowmobiling I prefer to bipass plowed to the ground trails for logging trucks. Always on my best behavior thru logging zones a stroke of a pen and logging companies can chase snowmobiles out. I give logging equipment all the time and room to...

    The New 2004 Yamaha's

Rx 1 ton kicked off the 4s performance market segment but didn’t really get going until the Apex was released in 2006. Got to say the rear exhaust was cool for its time. 👍

    Michigan dnr adding new trails

Lots of 14 to Big Bay is in and out of logging areas and are plowed maybe that condition can be bipassed.

    2023 Yamaha Snowmobiles?

Imo good luck trying to figure out snowmobile market share via hard numbers. The mags go at it every now and then and who knows where they get their numbers. The market shares I have seen broken out: 1. Skidoo 2.Polaris 3. Arctic Cat 4. Yamaha Broken out by dollars and unit numbers world wide...

    2023 Yamaha Snowmobiles?

I agree seemed like a no brainer. I guess Yamaha wants to sell SW not Vipers. Vector was same way black sheep to get improvements that seemed logical.
