900 Ace is a good engine, good on gas , good trail sled. You’re being over sold as powder sled or 2up not the purpose it was built. It’s a moderate power trail sled robust 4s engine.

Engine ,clutches or both , fish tailing is too much pressure on skis harden center shock. That era sled didn’t have much more than 1 “ track lug so no comparison to Venture with ripsaw.

Probably blew out some antifreeze check it out. Oil not likely but check that too.

Since you brought it up I agree the procross is old in the tooth. If this is true the OEMs want their color kids sled but don’t care who makes it. Honestly I don’t care I’m so beyond buying kids or 3/4 sleds it’s just not important to me but totally understand the market value of a sled for all...

Usually insurance totals them out won’t quote repair on aluminum enclosure or trailer. Deer ran into mine bought a new one got the salvage rights to damaged trailer sold to my buddy. You should make out well if play your cards right.

111 back from Amasa to the the Sidnaw split back to 15 to 2 and IR one of my fav routes a few whoops on 111 west side nice Twistys on 15 then 15 opens up to straight 15 grade back to 2. I’m not fond of 111 on the east side too much road riding. Short loop for you but sure is a fun one👍

Pretty much get in a rhythm and go. Only time I glance at speedo is on grades reaching for triple digits. I suppose some may ride by speedo but not me.
