2024 Yamaha. Is it going to happen?

Kiss method is what we all said about carburetors and now we almost all have EFI or 4s sled and would never go back to carbs.

Sounds like a lot of extra money and work to set up, but to each their own.

UP Snowmobile Season Extended to April 2nd

Watersmeet should still be in great shape also as we did groom last week a couple days and have enough money for one more day to groom so will be sending drivers out at least one day towards the weekend. Can’t tell you much more as I’m enjoying 80 degrees on Arizona and a few beers but my...

    Snowmobile Insurance

I think I ask my agent once and was told that they figure the season of a snowmobile into the equation for what you pay basically meaning if you could use it year round it would be way more. But that was awhile ago so not sure if I’m remembering correctly.

How many miles did you put on this season?

Had my best season ever, 2700-2800ish on my 22 then traded it in 3 week of February and put about 1300 more on it. All right from the garage which is why. Another 550ish in the groomer. As for fuel I have a 300 gallon tank at the house about 280 really that I filled twice this season. Between...

    T130 vs 900R

Have not been on a 130t but can tell you the 900r (180) will pull your arms off and beat you with them if your not ready for it. Very little use for sport mode trail riding, half the time in the twisty’s I put it in eco mode which lets you just go and not jump coming out of corners.

    NW Vilas Update 3/23

Still have a couple grand for grooming in Watersmeet so planning on sending groomers out one more day (today) as temps will warrant it then probably shut it down for the year but a bet trails will last for a while in the shade covered areas. Didn’t take any pictures but they looked good in town...

Things have changed a bit huh?

Yes some things have changed, with all kinds of social media platforms now not as much traffic on this one but still a good place. John added the barstool section for the kids that can’t control their emotions 🤣🤪 pretty much after covid and our last election. The JD community has lost a few good...

    NW Vilas Update 3/21

Pclark love trail 11, you should have continued all the way to trail 2 then turn around and go back. So glad they got it opened back up a few years ago.

    How is trail grooming managed?

One of the biggest problems most clubs will tell you they have is getting help from the preseason brushing and signing to getting drivers to cover all grooming shifts. As to time to groom yes the later the better as usually colder and less traffic to help groom set up but if you only can get a...

    How is trail grooming managed?

2TrakR pretty much nailed it for Michigan one thing I will add is in a lot of areas DNR owns or has long standing leases and such. If any part of the trail systems need repair, through the grant program you can request money to have these done. There is a lot that the dnr will pay for but there...
