Since no way to avoid the warm up & rain maybe the ground snow will turn to an ice base in Vilas. Since trails don't open until December 10th no risk of traffic taking the base to mud. I'm hopeful just don't want to lose all the snow.:)

Currently inspecting trails for December 10th Opener. Of course we need more snow but this is an early opening date compared to last 5 years or so.:)
