    Your Pre-Season Checklist

No preseason checklist for the sled for me, I pick up my new one next week at the dealer. I guess the only thing I can do is just get familiar with how the panels come off and play with the G8 guage. For the trailer, it's all about greasing those bearings and checking the lights.

    Favorite section of trail

The Big Bay trails and #8 through Hiawatha are my favorites for sure. Least favorite is 417 in Chocolay Township lol.

    North Shore traffic jam

I've seen this all over northern MI. What really surprised me is how many tourists were from other countries, it's as if Pure Michigan is running targeted ads overseas.

What Will You Be Riding This Year?

I'll be riding a 2025 Arctic Cat ZR 600 with ATAC. The dealer hasn't called me yet about picking it up, so I've got no pictures to share. But I'm excited to get off of my 2014 ZR 7000 Sno Pro. It's been a great sled and that Yamaha motor is bullet proof, but I'm getting too old to be moving...

Taken this summer during the Canadian wildfires from the deck of my camper on Lake Erie (sunrise).

Yep, can't wait to get it, praying to the snow gods!

    Who's chopping at the bit?

Kinda of the opposite for me, going back to 2s after the last 10 years on a 4s. Just waiting for the catalyst to arrive, I'll be playing with my G8 gauge too until the snow flies.

    Who's chopping at the bit?

Not done enjoying boating and fishing yet, but I've got to admit I'm thinking about winter more and more everyday now. My throttle thumb is starting to twitch.

thinking of anything new for upcoming season?

I'll be getting a new AC ZR 600 with quite a few goodies. First new sled in 10 years. I've got a YamaCat, I swear that engine will never wear out, but I'm ready to go back to a light weight 2 stroke.

TOYOTA SNOWMOBILE OUT ON THE TRAIL SUNDAY

I've seen cars and even mini vans stuck in the middle of a trail, apparently from the driver following GPS instructions. But my question is after looking at these pictures, and with those tires, how the heck was that even stuck in the first place?

Super Bowl 1/2 Time Show Opinion?

I understood the symbolism, but most of what he said was completely unintelligible. For an artist to be understood, we need to understand what is actually being said. Most of it sounded like incoherent mumble. What I really didn't like about it was there no melody, very little accompanying...

The annual 24-25 how many miles thread!

Zero. But that will change, leaving this Saturday for a long stay in the U.P., my throttle thumb is twitching.

    small world LOL

No, unfortunately it was not, but I'll be in that fine establishment in a couple of weeks.

    small world LOL

Hey, that's my goal too, as a "southern guy" (Ohio). Wife has already approved the plan to get a small retirement place in the U.P., now I just gotta get to retirement and then find someone who will take me on as a volunteer driver.

    Giant gear bag

I actually got mine at the local military surplus store for like $40. However, l quit using it after a while, it was just too big and bulky to deal with, much easier to use two smaller ones.

I've got stud marks on my floor. A nice sled dolly will fix that problem...
