We have 2 of the 17 Thundercats. They ride like Cadillac, but if you do a lot of twisty trails you are going to feel it in the shoulders. I still would not trade mine for anything. Just regular maintenance. We did install the fourth wheel kit when brand new on both.

The trails up to Republic that you mentioned are windy twistys. They will take the time. Once hooking up with 8 you will have more strait stretches. If you fuel up in Republic you shouldn't need fuel again before Munising. What you are proposing is easily done in one day. My husband and I left...
