Snow Storm Feb 21 and 22

Please, please, please let it happen! My daughter saw John's report first this morning and went nuts. I told her to cross her fingers and pray.

    Boulder Junction area

There is a great breakfast place right in Boulder on the south side of town. Can't remember the name but breakfast is their specialty. Big portions, good food.

Stay on the Trail or Stay Home

I will admit to being very surprised here in eau claire county Sunday night. They opened trails here for last weekend and only last weekend. In my opinion they should not have opened at all. We went out Sunday night. Every trail on corn stalk was on stubble and horribly rough, but only once did...

    Turbo Yamacats

My husband loved his 2012 1000 2stroke cat motor, but the suspension just wasn't good enough anymore. But when it comes to comparing the motors the stock Thundercat would trounce it of the line, but looses on the top end. Radar comparison on same track, 1000 ft, stock 2017 Thundercat 121 mph...

Dog sled team hit by Snowmobiler in Bayfield WI

The sled dog owner said the sled might have been yellow. Unfortunately that doesn't help us. How many sledders drive Ski Doos, 40%. No special wrap, no standout colors. Would like to help, but info is needed.

    Mother nature.... WHAT GIVES??!!!

I would divorce my husband if the sleds left. They are a deal breaker. Nothing like torturing myself looking at it on a hot summers day.

    Turbo Yamacats

We have 2 of the 17 Thundercats. They ride like Cadillac, but if you do a lot of twisty trails you are going to feel it in the shoulders. I still would not trade mine for anything. Just regular maintenance. We did install the fourth wheel kit when brand new on both.

Dog sled team hit by Snowmobiler in Bayfield WI

I agree Euphoric1, 100%. The few hurt the many. Most snowmobilers will help anyone with an issue on the trail. How many of us have helped and been helped by our fellow riders. Unfortunately this incident is getting National coverage and making us all look bad! It's not just that the individual...

    Mother nature.... WHAT GIVES??!!!

I was hoping it would track further east and we would get opened up here at least. Trails are panned, swamps busted open and refroze. We just need white stuff!🙏

Just saying hi - been a while

Nice to hear from you again, always enjoy your posts. Thank you for your involvement with SORVA. The improvement in the Munising area after they took over was phenomenal.

    Eastern UP help

The trails up to Republic that you mentioned are windy twistys. They will take the time. Once hooking up with 8 you will have more strait stretches. If you fuel up in Republic you shouldn't need fuel again before Munising. What you are proposing is easily done in one day. My husband and I left...

Recommendation of place to stay with family

Enjoy your trip. We have left Lakewoods going to Houghton on day one, then back to Lakewoods day 2. The northern route north of Clam Lake into Iron County will give you very little traffic. The southern route dropping south at Clam Lake to the Tuscobia into Price County, then to Lac Du Flambeau...
