    Bergland to silver city

No ice heaves so far this year that have been reported but that can always change. Agree lake can be hard the navigate in heavy snow.

    Bergland to silver city

There is a parking lot across from gas station in Bergland it is a pay to park I believe on the honor system., and pretty cheap. Couple different options then to go up to lake in the clouds just looks at a map. Very nice ride.

    Watersmeet

Hoosier, you must have been early because we had a group of about 30 stop at our groomer barn in the morning then headed up 107 to Kenton. But I’m sure they weren’t tearing it up either. Trails around hear are some of the best I’ve ever seen.

You can head north out of the parking lot about 200 yards pick up Bass lake rd about 2-3 miles then turn on fr 5086 take that to fr5250 which brings you to the trail where trail 3 and 107 meet. Actually had my camp on Bass lake rd so used to do that all the time. I would love to try and push a...

    Winter Storm Watch Keweenaw

Generic, did find out yesterday this can be a common problem with them. Supposedly they have a fix for it so I will be looking into it. I’ve had this one 9 years and this is first year ever having this issue. Crazy!

    Winter Storm Watch Keweenaw

Still have to have someone checking on generator, as I have one and the Thanksgiving storm wind was blowing so much it wound up getting into the intake and plugging the air filter and shut it down then when trying to restart killed the battery. So when I got home had to clean all the snow out of...

df, biggest problem up here anyhow is the lack of help so owner quite often is working. See it all the time around here but you would think if you had a few businesses they could figure out how not to be closed on the same days. Couple years ago the to resorts on our chain that sold bait had...

If you are heading north to ride......

Oh there is going to be plenty of little hidden branches under the snow still. No way we can get all that stuff. Once we can get out and pan we will really know what is left. Would really hope as people start ride they will occasionally stop and pick up some of the branches that have been left...

If you are heading north to ride......

U.P. Thunder Riders have been out for 6 days running 3 to 5 crews with excavators and a tractor with a grapple bucket probably close to 200 man hours and have at least 2 to 3 more days before we will have everything opened up. Every time you push through a bad area you make it about 100-200...

If you are heading north to ride......

Well here is what you will be trying to ride through of you come to Watersmeet. We had 4 different crews out with excavators today and each one made it about 3-5 miles each. With 70 miles of trail to cover it is going to take a while.

New addition to the snowmobile community some day anyhow

Well my son and daughter in law had their first child yesterday. And our first grandchild. What a great day. So needless to say we were down by them and not up north dealing with the mess up there, just coordinate getting guys out to clear trails. I’ve already been accused of looking to buy her...

    What gives?

At this point any help would be welcomed but clear trees not just a small path. Problem is with those that want to help is how do you get to the work? 2 of our guys were out with a tractor with a loader and fork on the front and second guy in the Tucker and they only made it about 2-3 miles in...

    What gives?

Great video good info. Here is one stretch just out of Watersmeet going east . And having riders just going around or just cutting enough to get through is not helping anybody.
