NWS has issued another Winter Storm Watch for our area for Wed evening into Thursday evening with the potential of 4-8" of wet heavy snow possible with winds in the Keweenaw of 40 mph. Mixed precip is also expected along with freezing rain possible. Does the fun never end?!?!? I have looked at...

We are at 339" so far here in the Keweenaw. I hope we are nearing the end of it.

Snow expected to begin this morning with winds of 50 mph expected tonight. Snowfall during the day 3-5", another 3-5" tonight and an additional 3-5" tomorrow. Travel is not recommended. The Blizzard warning is extended through to Tuesday.

NWS Mqt has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Thursday 8pm to Friday afternoon. Snowfall of 7-12" possible with wind gusts of 45 mph expected. Looking at the model runs, both Euro & GFS are in agreement, we cannot get a break here.

3" of fresh snow yesterday and this morning here in the banana belt of the Keweenaw. I tried to post yesterday, but the discussion board was again unavailable. We are suppose to get more through the day today & again possibly over the weekend. Yay!:rolleyes:

3" of wet snow after the early morning rain here in the Keweenaw. Actually had to plow for the first time in a week. Rain likely in the early a.m. followed by 48 deg and windy on Sunday. Snow possibly by midweek next week. Go figure.

52.5" since Feb 17th! We have been getting pummeled for the past week & now we have another 10 to 12" possible tonight into tomorrow. No more please, we're full.

They are still happening, but are not as long as they once were. Perhaps someone is working on the issue? Nonetheless, glad to see they are shorter.
