    Solar Eclipse

I'm certainly happy that we won't have to hear about this anymore but, I gotta tell ya, it was spectacular, awesome and really cool. First the weather was a perfect 72*, not a cloud in the sky when the moon first touched the sun @ 1:59 PM. In the next 1 hour and fifteen minutes before totality...

    The Last of the Yamaha's

All sleds break down sooner or later. We don't sit at bars we ride. Our group has 2 Vipers with over 20,000 miles each another Viper with over 15,000 miles and 3 Sidewinders with over 10,000 miles. We had to tow a sidewinder in once from a chaincase leak and one of the Vipers from a track that...

    The Last of the Yamaha's

Thank god. They never had a chassis worth a crap but what they did have were motors that everyone wanted. This 998 4stroke is the most powerful, most reliable snowmobile motor ever produced. Everyone can thank Yamaha as it has forced all other manufacturers to produce better motors which in the...

    Camso's new Ice Arrowhead track

Ice Ripper is a single ply track, and the new Ice Arrowhead is a 2 ply track. Ice ripper studs are straight up on lugs and Ice Arrowhead are angled 15*, 75% are angled for traction and 25% are angled for braking. The lug pattern on the Ice arrowhead repeats every 13th lug instead of every 5th on...

    Solar Eclipse

Anybody into this solar eclipse that is going to happen on April 8th? I'm in the path of totality of 4+ minutes with total darkness for 48 minutes. Experts are saying over 1.5 million visitors will find there way into Lorain County for this event. Most businesses will be shut down due to grid...

    The Groomer Guy has retired!

Enjoyed watching his videos, enjoyed riding those trails even more. Did a lot of riding in Northern Ontario from 2001 - 2012. Oh the memories....leaving Wawa one morning, waited until it warmed up to -25* hit the Magpie Reservoir for 31 miles up to Dubreuiville. Coldest ride ever, will never do...

What trip(s) have you cancelled so far?

First, safe travels....it's a long pull for sure. Lots of good riding to be had. The worst part is fuel stops, bare surfaces at all gas stations and a little thin near road crossings. Once your passed all that the trails were awesome. What area you headed to?

What trip(s) have you cancelled so far?

When I started this thread the day after X-mas I never thought it would still be active on February 9th, just as many have said "CRAZY." Here in North central Ohio it's 64* as I type this @ 2:30pm, high yesterday of 67*. Full report when I return home. This has always been on our bucket list...

What trip(s) have you cancelled so far?

Headed to Fort Kent in Maine, waiting on a call to make a reservation for the 10th - 17th. Always wanting to go there so now is the time. Only down fall is a 17 hour pull but no different than going to Gaspe Peninsula, which I've done. Big wide and fast trails....made for the SRX to stretch its...
