Saw this on a couple local sites. Someone putting signs along the trail warning of bad gas. Probably a snowmobile hating local?

No premium gas in GM or Seney until sometime tomorrow. Tanker delayed by weather.

Does anyone know if the snowmobile trails through the National Park will be opened with the government shutdown? I remember they blocked the roads when we had a shutdown during the warmer months.

Seney reporting this morning they're down to 3/4 of a groomer! Currently running one groomer with a broken front plow! I hope they get back up and running soon. The grade from the Bear Trap to Seney was very rough already. At least 4-5 days above freezing at night means no grooming. Holiday...

Anyone know of a place to park truck and trailer in or around Copper Harbor? I'm only a couple hours away and would like to ride for the day. Thanks.

Who the heck wants or can afford to snowmobile? Think of the poor motel owners up here in the north that have to keep the heat on in those vacant rooms. This is not going to be a good year for some..........
