Just bought a 2017 Switchback w/elec start. Owner told me battery was dead,then pull started it. I did not know that the battery had been taken out. Could that have harmed anything? Is it OK to drive it without a battery? I did start it again to unload when I got home. Thanks Dan

I have a 07 600cfi cleanfire lx the starter does not engage (makes a nasty noise) the bracket that holds the starter drive seems loose , is that normal, is it a part of the exhaust bracket? Might it be a solenoid not engaging the drive? Thanks
