Hey Attakman - any thoughts of the willow area? Was thinking of heading there and going to the west of the flowage this weekend. Always love your reports!

    3-5-20 Bueller?, Bueller?

Well, I see it is snowing in the UP, but nothing mentioned. Can anyone share a report of whatcha got? Attempting one more trip to the UP next weekend, 3/13-3/15. And know we needed some snow. Just a matter of how much and where to make my plans! Thanks in advance.

    Way to calculate distance

I thought I recall seeing an app or website where you could look at a snowmobile trail and see how long each section is? I am doing a ride with my family this weekend and need to be sure I don't push it to far with this group. I thought...someone on this site was able to map out there track...

    Parking near Crivitz?

Bride and I are going to do a day ride on MLK last minute. I am planning on dropping near Crivitz. Any one know if there is a good place to park a truck and 29' trailer near trailside? How about trail conditions from the area? Thanks in advance!

MI Snowmobile Pass - I think it is a deal!

This past weekend I was in the UP for a small winter get away. We spent 3 days and two nights in a hotel, 1 day riding with my son, another skiing with my family. The plan was to ski day two, but skiing in the rain really sucks. I figure between fuel, food, lift tickets, hotel, snowmobile...

    Where's the beer truck report?!?

Missing the photos from the beer truck. Itching to hit the Dunbar, Athestane, Goodman areas and love the photos - always worth 1000's words. Any reports from that area?

    vehicle tires for a trailer

Looks like I need to replace my dual axle snowmobile trailer tires. I see there are some great black Friday deals right now on tires. Is there any reason I can't use a car tire instead of a trailer tire? I know I will still be well under the weight limit of any tire I chose. Thoughts?

    snowmobile dollies

What have ya'all used for snowmobile dollies? I know I have a few that I don't like, they simply don't stay on the ski if going over any uneven surfaces. I would like ones I could hit some minor bumps and still stay on. Also must be fairly easy to take off and on, my lower back does not allow...

    Axle Corrison

I know I am not the only one who deals with this, but trying to head it off. I have an enclosed snowmobile trailer that is all aluminum except the axles. There is a bit of surface rust I would like to take care of. I know my first step will be to sand down the axle to bare metal, prime...

How many miles of trails does your club take care of??

My wife's cousin has a tree trimming business. Has an attachment that he can turn vertically or horizontally to trim. Think this would be a great application for trails.

Not too bad for the UP

Thought the same thing. Snow was best I have seen in UP since 2014. Both of these photos I stepped off the sled and sunk to my crotch before I stopped.

    Snowmobiling is a Dangerous Sport

Sounds like this crossing was properly marked, and simply missed. I will state, most of us who ride enough have made this mistake a time or two, and came out without incident. I was riding the past two days near Muni. Two different times I saw signs were missing. I went back both times to...

    Interstate Hwy 41 Closed

The weather was epic yesterday. I live on the NE side of Lake Winnebago (140,000 acre lake in WI for those not familiar with the area). I received a call after church that one of my neighbors was stuck in in a snow drift in the lake. He is an older gentleman (74 I believe), shoveled for over...

Fuel in 4 strokes, 100% gas or mix?

What are ya'all using for fuel in your 4-strokes? I am running Yamaha motors and have been using 100% gas, 92 or 93 octane but have been thinking, if I know I will be going through the fuel within the day or so, probably could run the 87 and be fine. If will be sitting over the summer, the go...

2/17 Oneida & Price Co Update

This past weekend I rode with my 2 kids and wife out of the north end of Willow Flowage. Ended up with around 250 miles between Oneida and Price Co. I have been riding this area for a long, long time and this is was some of the best conditions I have ever rode in. On Friday we took a loop...

    Door Gasket Sticking Solutions?

As my truck has been hooked up to my trailer and not thawed out in some time, my door gasket is "frozen" to the door on a pretty regular basis and is pulled away from the truck body when I open the door. There must be some solution like silicon or WD-40 that will not allow the moisture to stick...

    It's stinkin deep!!

North Central WI. Heading to my buddies cabin and he called me yesterday stating the plow truck could not get in. I basically said no way, guy needs new tires. Then he sent me this photo. They are coming to open it up with a front loader today. Edit - in case you could not tell, that is a...

    Bruce crossing trail

You can't see this falls from a tressel. What you will want to do is take UP3 to Bond falls Road. Bond falls road is not a trail, but you only need to run about 3/4 mile on the road. Unless there is a warm up, there is usually enough ice and snow to provide lube from UP3 to the falls. From...

    Sheboygan & Manitowoc Counties

Spoke to my brother last night who was grooming northern Manitowoc County. He was on the tractor until 2 am this past morning in attempt to have one good weekend to ride this year. Most of the trails have now been groomed 2-4x's. When the wind was blowing, they were grooming to set a base...
