HEY, JUST TOOK THIS SLED OUT OF STORAGE TO SELL, AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS RUNNING BAD LAST WINTER.

I THINK ITS ONLY RUNNING ON ONE CYL PTO SIDE,

- PTO SIDE PLUG LOOKS NICE AND BROWN, OTHER SIDE OILY,

- JUST CLEANED THE SINGLE CARB,(WAS DIRTY,CLOGED PIOT JET!)

- CHECKED COMP. 140 ON EACH SIDE.

- NEW PLUGS

- COUPLE GALS FRESH GAS

- BOTH PLUGS HAVE SPARK, EVEN SWITCHED WIRES STILL SAME.

IS IT POSSIBLE IT SUCKED MORE STUF INTO THE CARB?

IS IT POSSIBLE IT IS SUCKING AIR, LIKE AND CRANK SLEAL ON THE MAG SIDE?

WELL, ANY THOUGHTS WOULD BE GREAT AS THIS IS A FREINDS SLED THAT THEY ARE SELLING

you say youv'e installed new plugs and that one side is brown in color and the other side is oily black. Is that correct? Plugs don't turn colors for many of miles of riding or running. Crank seal like you say is a possible idea, start and run on the one cyl. and spray some starting fluid in and around both crank seals and see if the engine picks up.

If the thing runs on one lung than I would probably rule out the carb if it is a single carb set up. If compression is good and equal then rule out a bad jug/piston. Spark can look good, but not be enough under pressure so continue to look at that or a seal on the side that doesnt fire. Yor are on the right track.
