'02 600 xcsp premium vs. unleaded

I have an '02 Polaris, and I have always ran it with regular unleaded in it with no issues. I decided to try running it with premium this year. I took it out once so far this year for about 125 miles, and the entire time it sounded like it wanted to be a 4 stroke and acted like it was flooding out in low rpms. I had the key turned to the Premium only setting, but wondering if there is some other adjustment I need to make for it to run smooth?

How warm outside was it? I had that 4 stroke sounding, loading up issue on my '99 XC 500, and I dropped the needles one, and lowered the pilot jets one number, and it cleaned it right up.

If you were having no issues with Regular gas, I'd go back to that and save the $$$.

Yeah probably not going to gain much off of the premium except a lighter pocket book. I have IQ Tour with the 600 Clean Fire. I'll run 89 all the time, the only time I run premium is the last ride of the year and it has to be non-oxygenated. And then again the first tank of the year.
I just like the warm fuzzy feeling of having non-oxygenated fuel for storage.

I dont like alcohol, so I always run 91 or higher, most gas stations away from major cities carry alcohol free premium fuel.
