The situation is this. 2 weekends ago my sled ran GREAT!!! Drove it into my garage when I got home and shut it down. This past weekend I went to start it, no spark. The kill switch, like most from this year, doesn't kill the motor everytime. So I disassembled the switch and manually separated the wires still no spark. Any suggestions?

ps - I've heard about the relay problem but I have also heard the sled should start without the relay, you just don't have any lights, tach, etc. Is this correct?

Any help would be awesome.

If relay fails and it is a SDI you have nothing, I have been there, and then it cures itself. Start cheap with a relay from NAPA.

Doesn't this sled have DESS kill switch. If it does you can not cut the wires without soldering them back together as resistance from connectors will not allow the sled to start. I ran into this problem on a summit where we ran it and put it in the trailer outwest. The trailer got warm from the sun and the ice melted and water shorted out the electrical circuit. We pulled connectors, blew them out, dielectric greased them, and started the sled.

After rereading your original I am assuming that you were referencing the handlebar rocker kill switch and not the DESS kill switch!!

Updating the situation, I took it to the dealership they said the stator was bad. I replaced the stator and nothing. The old stator and the new one had the same readings in and out of the sled so that was not the problem. After we replaced the stator we unplugged and reconnected all connections and finally we had spark. drove the sled on the trailer and headed for th UP, got there no spark. Disconnected and reconnected again and we had spark. So my problem was intermittant, until now. Now I have NOTHING. Any suggestions?
