04 ski-doo summit riser question?

How high of a risers can I go without placing cables and wiring on my 04 summit? And what is the correct way of measuring the riser? From top to bottom bolted up (including clamp brackets) or where the handle bars and stearing stem rest?

Thanks for any help on this. Just don't want to order the wrong height.
