I bought a 05 600ho sdi renegade about a few weeks ago. When I bought it the tach was not working and I thought it would not be a hard fix. Well I'm stumped. I first checked the relay, that is fine. Then I checked the continuity of the wires, all the way from the tach to the voltage regulator, everything seems fine there. It seems like the RPM signal is not getting from the Magneto to the tach. Any ideas? Can I try a wire from the mag to the tach, like the non sdi's are wired? Thanks for any info. I have posted this on other sites and I have not received any good feedback.
