05 rev windshield

i have a 05 rev with the windshield mounted on the handle bars .do they make a after market kit to mount one on the (so called) hood .i want to raise the bars 6in or so .any help would be great .thanks

You can get a 06 or newer Rev windshield and mount it to your sled. It is pretty easy, you have to drill 3 holes. I used an 06 windshield on my wife's 05 Rev and I have a Cobra windshield on my 05 Gade. I can email you some pictures if you need any help.

There is a kit you can get that comes w/ the mounting pieces. There is enough grommets and pushin pieces to set up a Medium Height Fixed windshield and small one. This way you can swap out the windshields easily on hot or off trail days.

The kit number is 861789900

What you get for this is 5 rubber grommets 8 push in knobs to attach to shield, one rubber piece that is supposed to go behind the windshield to stop it from bending, you probably won't need to use this on a medium fixed windshield.
