06 fusion 600 cuts out when you pin it.

Hi my buddy just bought a fusion 600. so we took it apart and cleaned the carbs and exhaust valves. put it all together and thought everything was right. Started it up and the display says (eng. seruce) or something like that. Gave it throttle and it went away. sounded like it was idling fine. went to ride it and everytime you go to punch it it cuts out. Just wondering what you guys thought could be wrong. ran just fine when we brought it in and all plugins are plugged in and tight. We did break off one of the little nipples that the little clear hoses plug into but dont think that would be causing this problem. any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's exactly what it is! I had this sled. I went to put on K&N filters, and the sled did exactly what you are talking about! And when I pluged those vacuum hoses back into the airbox, no more problem! I'm not sure what they do, but clearly it makes a difference.

Fix the nipple and hose, and I'm willing to put down $20 that fixes it.
