07 F5 Oil Issue

Checking over the F5 tonight, and discovered that the whole left side (clutch side) was almost completly covered in oil. Especially the clutch cover. Made a mess thats for sure. What might have caused this? Dosen't look like the oil tank has a leak, haven't spilled any that we know of. Is there overflow hoses on that side? We usually fill er up with as much as it will hold, maybe causing some sort of excess overflow?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I know that alot of xfires and M sleds have a problem with leaking oil in storage my M6 does it and it runs down the same side as your fire cat.I would start by checking the air box.In my sled the oil fills up in the air box and then leaks out by the intake.You have to reach in with your hand and feel around there is a dam in there reach past the dam and if you feel oil in there that is probly where it is coming from.Just wipe it up real good and ride the **** out of it.Mine has been doing this for the past 2 yrs and i have just wiped up the oil in the air box out of storage and never had a issue and it does not leak during riding season just in storage.

alright, we called the dealer and he said we were just filling it too full, and the overflow runs out that side. Might have to check the airbox too though...
