I have a 06 Classic 15,000 mi. Slp vents, ELA exhust, Air ride rear suspension, Ryde fx shocks in the front, motor Stock. I can get over 18 mpg. if I need to, and go 100 mph plus any time I want to. After all the Updates and warrenty things were taken care of... and there where many.. The sleds been good. Gas and go. change oil once a year.

Armstrong steering!

Polaris had the wrong geometry on it and didn't correct that until 08. You can buy spindles to correct it from a couple aftermarket companies that specialize in Polaris parts, and then the sled is good.

Best suspension in the business.

Don't be surprised if you have to replace the rubber hoses in the tank....they were not made to lay around in fuels and additives year around.

Do the work, the sled will reward you with a wide smile. Nothing quite like a turbo on a sled with massive low end torque.

Regarding the spindles, I bought a set of 09 or 10 spindles of a guy on snowest.com for $100/shipped. I think the 07's had different skis than my 06, but I'm hoping this will take some of the effort out of the steering.

If all the updates are done, it should be a good sled for you. Put on the SLP vents or you will go through belts every 1,000 miles due to the heat. You should also get a good price, as I think M&M has a new 2012 carryover for $7,499 on eBay right now. As said above, the spindles would be a good idea. I put about 13,000 miles on my 2006.
