A buddy of mine has a 2008 f-8 with about 2000 miles.He has been getting some kind of code flashing at him.It says ECU21.Does anyone know what this means?

Was your friend's F8 part of the ECU recall and CCU update and if so, was it done at the dealer?

I'm assuming all updates were done because he just bought it in Dec. as a leftover.
