Our family owns an 08 F5 standard. I don't know if the shocks are different. If they are, please disregard the following. We bought it in the middle of last season and it now has about 2000 miles on it. The Ryde Fx shock was completly shot. We just replaced it a week ago with a new shock off a F8. For the trails, has good power and is a very good handling sled. The only problem for me is the fact that I weigh 125lbs and get a lot of track spin even with it having studs. Not a speed machine, but good power range and nice for the twisties and short straits.
