09 apex ltx rear heat exchanger gauged

i was just looking over my apex and noticed the rear heat exchanger pretty hacked up from my studs bottoming out should i worry of a puncture and do they make a protector for it ?I am tempted to fab some aluminum and do it myself but would rather buy something made for the sled.

Not sure they make protection for rear exchanger but YES you need it if running studs. If does not leak you are ok but without protection studs will take it out. PM fusion he fabbed something for his 09 that worked well.
