Just picked one of these up on December 30th, only 180 miles so far due to the cold snap, but, so far I love it! Don't miss the 800xc a bit.

Running the non ethenol resistor with non ox premium, getting 13.5 mpg. top speed of 92 mph so far, but there was more there.

I am going to get a higher windsheild and a riser, and eventually a 1.25 track

Just wondering what anyone else out there that has one thinks of theirs and what kind of mod's or upgrades they have done to theirs?

I have a 2010 IQ LX Turbo 136 which is almost the same machine. I too had the old edge style sled prior to this. I still have my 99 XLT two up. I have about 400 miles on mine this year since I picked it up. It takes a little getting used to going from a sit down sled to the rider forward positiong. I love the suspension as it soaks up the trails. That is the main reason I bought it. I had back surgery a few years ago and this suspension is allowing me to still ride. My only complaint so far is the heavy steering. To take a quote from some of my racing buddies"It pushes like a dump truck in the corners". I'm not sure if it because of the extra weight of the four cycle or just the set up or me getting used to the new rider forward positioning. I was thinking of putting dually carbides on it. Taking it up to Land-o-Lakes today with some of my buddies for 3 days. I will see how it handles the trails up there. I'm not speed racer, just a trail rider.

Ha ha, gig, you got the machine I had in mind when I walked in the dealer, till the reality of the budget kicked me in the 'nads,

The 2 injector 600 2s pulls really nice,

I am really impressed with the ride and don't think it plows thru the corners too bad at all, and in the first 10 miles I knew I liked the rider forward position and the way it takes the bumps. I did add a turn to the front shock preload and that made it even better in the corners

if yours is plowing maybe try raising the front limiter strap.

Enjoy your ride!

John,
The dealer made me a good deal on a sled enclosed trailer package I could not refuse. The FST was about $1,100 more then the 600. This will probably be my last sled and I thought the extra maney was worth not having to deal with the whole 2 cycle oil thing including the rising price of the oil. I am just getting ready to head out the door and head to the UP as I write this. I will see how the handling goes the next few days and maybe make an adjustment to the straps. I am just affraid that if I raise the straps it will steer even harder. I'm thinking about those dual carbides. I have them on the 500 and 600 xlt and they are like riding with power steering.

Polaris only made the 2 injector engines in 2009. They had problems with cold seizing and scoring. Make sure you warm it up an extra long time before you take off.

Stock for stock the IQ steer harder than the Edge sleds. I took out weight transfer and sucked up the straps one hole to get ride of the push. I have tried duallys on 3 different sleds, and they pushed bad on all of them. 1 yammy , 1 edge, 1 IQ 136. I would take weight transfer out first and see what happens. Its free...

oh and loosen the front track spring til it has almost no preload on it with the sled in the air.
