09 Ski Doo 500SS Trail- whats it worth?

I have a friend who has the above sled with 1100-1200 miles on, no e-start. He is wanting to sell it and I want to buy it. Being as its a friend, I want to be fair in the buy/sell process with him. I know what hes asking for it, and I have first choice in the purchase. I just want to be fair.

09 500ss estart sports with less than a 1000mi were selling here for 6000 in the fall. A price of 5000 from someone you know would be a good friend price for both.

Think that's pretty low for and 09' with low miles. For a rental sled that has high miles and has been beaten that may be the price. It still seems pretty low

You know who had it has to be worth a few extra bucks. Better than buying blind and having it go "POW" the first time out. My friend bought a low mile 600 cat 2001 2002 with real low miles first ride out the ring stuck and he disappeared from my radar while crossing the lake!!!!
