09 summit 154 what u think

Hear goes been polaris guy all my life, went out to snowys last spring fell in love.
Been looking for a 09 155 dragon 800, have not heard real good coments on the
motor. I have a 09 800 dragon short track I have for were i'm at, never had motor problems.
As I said been looking since last spring and everybody is nuts (price) for what they want for them and I have only see a couple 155s (dragons).
Pluse my local dealer has 2, 09 Switchback and assult 800 in, both motors had too be rebuilt.
So at Haydays I picked up a 09 800r 154 summit, do not know anything about ski doo,
except my buddy bought a 10(same thing) last year and loved it, he had a fusion problems, m1000 problems, now he has this and says it's the best sled he's ever had and love it.
Pick this sled up for almost $2000 less then a dragon or assult.
What do the ski doo people out there think of this sled and motor, I'dont know what
I might have got into, and yes I will buy a 2011 pro rmk in a coulpe years but have too have a budget.
What did I get into?

Hey Dragonguy! Coming from a Skidoo guy, I think you made a good call. There isn't a whole lot you HAVE to do to the sled to get it running. I switch stock clutching only for heading out west and have had no problems.

It takes a little more practice to get a consistent carve out of but you will be able to outclimb most stock sleds.

I bet you found a great deal on it, as things were moving on Sunday!

Ya went out for one last look, sunday afternoon, passed a 09 800 155 dragon looked like he rolled it down a cliff and he still was asking $6800, would not give him $500 for the piece of s**t. Another guy had a 163 800 dragon to long for me wanted $7900 saturday was down too $7600 sunday, 4 Assault up there to short of tracks, all still there sunday, priced $7800-$7400. If there is sombody on this board who had those sleds, I don't want to offended you, but your asking too much ...
Thing is there all about the same book price $7000-7300 maybe, thats what this Summit is
did not come close to paying that.
Buddy is a mountian rider saw this one, was vary clean, worked him a little bit
then bit the bullet and said what the hey "trun to the dark side it's my destiny"
