09 switchback starting digital display

on start up the display flashes ser engine 5 times and then the normal display comes on. This started when the green button on the left hand control broke and the left handwarmer shorted out. I have replaced both of them, I am wondering if something needs to be reset.

Congratulations you have put 200 hours on your sled. Pull out your owners manual and read the part on resetting the service timer.
