Rhinelander/Lake Tom on the WI River. The melt is over and we received a dusting overnight. It’s still flurrying, so the removal will have to wait. A hard freeze is on the way, which should move the trails in the right direction.

Same up here in MW. Was at the hardware store yesterday and local business owners are still very nervous about how the winter season will turn out. While it might look ok out there the swamps are not even close to being ready for groomers yet. If we get some more snow and it stays cold I believe that Vilas will open after what happened last year. Pray for snow!
