Twin Lakes-Our winter started 1 week ago and on that Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, we had rec'd 25.8 inches snow (before that we had inch of snow in the grass. So, last week-end a lot of snowmobilers-our groomers started working what trails they could on Fri, Sat & Sun. Since then we are on regular schedule with couple exceptions of water holes-1 deep on out on our trail 13 loop. We've had extremely cold temps but will take some time for it to freeze in. This Tues (12/12/16) our blizzard started and has not quit-AND is to continue until tomorrow. On 12/12 we added another 5.8 inches and we don't have official measure on yesterday yet but as of Tues 12/12 we've had 33.4 inches snowfall. Blizzard of snow & winds so bad yesterday, people were pulling off road to stay because couldn't see to drive. Very cold, also. Groomers out working.

Is my calendar wrong? I have Tues as 12/13/16. You forgot to mention schools have been closed for the last two days. Drive slow on the highways as bad whiteout conditions.

Midwest Player: Sorry. my mistake-yYou are correct Tues was Dec. 13th. These white-out blizzard conditions, day & night, has been continuation from one day into the next so it's a little difficult to keep my sanity. I didn't realize it would be of interest that schools have been closed. Many schools in other areas close for a lot less reason than this.

Twin Lakes - Guess What!!! It's snowing......as of this morning we've rec'd 54.2 inches of snow. Anyone interested can go on to our township website-www.elmrivertownship.com and click on snowfall totals-will give you daily total & total for year. This is official as it has been set up by National Weather Service. The measuring stick beside Kruppy is not showing this as many of these snowy days it has been so windy that the snow has been blowing in sideways, past Kruppy and on down the hill. I'd kinda like to see a just a little sunshine. Also, cold-at 1PM it is 4.3 degrees

Given that the title of this thread is "12/14/16", I guess we can presume that everyone that has posted since that date is still reporting data for that date? Kinda old news, isn't it?
(There is/should be a separate thread for each date.)

12-18-16 Sorry frnash-has been very busy here with all this snow to clean up and happy snowmobilers and I just quickly answered the last fella that posted-didn't take time to think of a date-just noticed that it said "today." Maybe if I don't straighten up and do right I'll get fired, eh? Hmmmmmm.

Awww, my note was simply intended as a 'gentle reminder' to all who have posted after the date indicated in the thread header (in this and several similar threads). I'm just an old sweetie, no?
