Met with one of our groomers on Sunday who told me that Presque Isle/Winchester trails passed inspection by the county last week and are near perfect. Also spoke with our club president today who told me that they are waiting until after the alliance meeting tomorrow night and Vilas county will probable open as a whole on Friday the 19th. Why we didn't open already is still a question that nobody wants to or can't answer. Either way I'm seeing riders out in both Presque Isle and Manitowish Waters. Thought about going out today or tomorrow before I go back to Chicago on Friday, but I will play by the rules and wait until our next trip north. It's still nice that people will be able to ride before Christman. Been a long time since that has happened.
