Ask later....Snowing hard here in Phelps area this morning... no idea where this is coming from?...must be LES..... clipper coming tonight and Monday morning.

Would be nice to get the trails open in Vilas for next weekend, but that sounds like a long shot.

I got 5 inches last night down here in NE PA, all powder, but ground was frozen like a rock, and calling for very cold temps next week or more
hoping for a change to have an actual SNOWY winter, last 2 have been as bad as they can be, 2015 actually had NO snow the whole yr, last yr just 2 real snow falls

Clubs should be able to at least pan this week but this snow is very dry stuff. So far yeah everything white and 5ish on the ground but not much body to it. In wait mode for now and I'm ok with it ...would not be very good riding conditions unless on a vintage sled.

About 6"-8" on the ground in Presque Isle. But hard to tell with the blowing.

Phelps area 5 settled and starting to have some body to it now ...not just fluff. I'm starting to have some hope for some decent riding soon.
