I doubt it. Accidents happen everyday with motorcycles.

I almost always wear a helmet, but don't chastise others for not wearing one. There is a reason why Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, & Minnesota have laws that give the rider a CHOICE to wear one.

I wear a helmet because of reasons like this. You can't control what other people do when you're out there and that is what scares me.

I have lost too many friends to motorcycle accidents over the years including a husband & wife couple. All the accidents were the others guy's fault but everyone is still dead. Everyone I know was dead at point of impact so at least no suffering. Very dangerous machines in my experinces & no 2nd chances.

Doug's remains will return to Michigan tomorrow at 3pm via the Milwaukee/Muskegon high speed ferry boat.

We as a bike community need to stand up here and make our voice heard!!letters, phone calls I don't know....this man needs to be charged with every thing they can we need this to be in the public eye.......I have a bad feeling this is going to be one them "*** how he get probation for killing 2 people" things.......

he got 8years with good behavior and time spent he should see day light in a year and half............great sys you guys have in wis...kill a biker get a free meal and a bed......

He killed 2 bikers and injured many of the other ones (one lost a leg).
I'm as mad as you are that he got that light a sentence.
We go by the memorial every time we go to Fondy.
