12 volt plug

Installed 12 volt outlet plug on a polaris 2003 600 xc sp next to the key switch .<BR>Where does and guy pick up wire leads to to power 12 volt accessorie power plug.  ( hot and ground wire )<BR>( the power plug come from polaris   2008 and up IQ/rush asseccories  )<BR>I am look to have power outlet to run my garmin/ I phone.

If you have electric start then you need to pick up the power at the battey (DC power).If you dont have electric start then you will fry your gps and phone because the stator puts out 12 volt AC.

If you don't have a battery you need a KOSO rectifier part#908-125. converts the AC to DC works like a million bucks.
